Tex. Polyester is our textured polyester Paracord Type III range. Unlike standard polyester, the textured yarn gives this cord a softer hand feel, closer to nylon than to our other polyester lines.

Why textured polyester feels different
Where regular polyester paracord has a noticeably rougher surface than nylon, the texturing process used for this range softens the yarn's hand feel, making it more comfortable to knot with while keeping polyester's resistance to wear and UV light.
Important to know
Polyester paracord cannot be fused together with nylon paracord due to its different chemical make-up. Breaking strength for this range is not established and shouldn't be compared directly to our standard nylon Type III.
