Climbing Rope

Safety notice! We have different types of rope in this category. Dynamic rope, Low stretch rope (commonly known as static) and Accessory cord. Check the corresponding EN number and specifications before selecting a rope!

Climbing rope: EN 892 - Dynamic rope to be able to take a falling mass (single, half or twin rope). EN 1891 - Low stretch rope (commonly known as static). EN 564 - Accessory cord (These ropes are meant as secondary ropes. Never use as a principal rope. This is not a life line!).

Dynamic rope (EN 892)

Dynamic rope is designed to absorb the energy of a fall through controlled stretch. It's the only category suitable for climbing with belay protection, whether that's sport climbing, multi-pitch routes or roped bouldering. Available as single, half or twin rope depending on your technique.

Static rope (EN 1891)

Low-stretch by design, static rope isn't built to absorb a fall. It's used for caving, rope access and working at height, where a high-factor fall isn't expected to happen.

Accessory cord (EN 564)

Accessory cord is for secondary uses only, such as prusik loops, slings or rappel anchors. Never use it as a main climbing rope; it is not a lifeline.

Not sure which rope you need?

If you're unsure which type suits your use case, contact our team before ordering. In climbing and work at height, safety always comes before price.
