With a width of 3 mm, the leather laces have a nice size to be used in all kinds of creative projects. For example, this leather is suitable for a perfect finish on a pair of handmade shoes, but also for attaching two parts of a pouch together.
Kangaroo leather is of high quality due to the fine and dense fibres in the hide. This makes the leather durable, hard-wearing and resistant to tearing. In addition, the leather is also lightweight and very flexible.

Origin of the leather
With a population of well over 30 million the kangaroo is considered abundant and not endangered in Australia. The harvest of these kangaroos is strictly controlled by an Australian Government program that ensuress no detrimental impact on the kangaroo or their ecosystems
The food industry in Australia takes only a small proportion of the total kangaroo population, our kangaroo leather is a recycled by-product that would otherwise end up as waste.
