Make the Summer Vibes knot | Tutorial

In this photo tutorial, you will see how to knot the Summer Vibes pattern. The Summer Vibes knot was designed by Elza Zuidema-Suurd and is difficult to make.

If you follow the photo tutorial and make this knot with paracord 100 type 1 and paracord 550 type III, the collar will be around 4 cm wide and 1 cm thick. With this knot you can easily determine how wide you make it, as you can easily leave out a rope. In the MatchMaker you can see how many meters of paracord you need, and you can also choose the colours for your project.

Start paracord knot

In this tutorial, the Kosmetik 2.0 technique is used as the setup. Need help making this? Then check out the tutorial on the Kosmetik setup here.

Colour 1: Deep purple Paracord 550 Type III, colour 2: Turquoise Paracord Type I, colour 3: Bubble Gum Pink Paracord Type I , colour 4: Pastel Pink Paracord Type I, colour 5: Pearl Lilac Paracord Type I, colour 6: Deep Purple Paracord Type I, colour 7: Marine Blue Paracord Type I, colour 8: Teal Paracord Type I

After making the setup and adding the colours, it is helpful to check that the length of the setup is still correct. Make sure the left and right strands of each colour ware the same length.

Knotting the Summer Vibes

Repeat these steps and continue until your work is the desired length.

This knot was designed by Elza Zuidema-Suurd. We would like to thank her for her permission to use this knot.
